Is it ready to hang right out of the box?
Yes! It’s William here and there’s no way I was going to make a map that people had to flatten/stretch/mount/frame themselves. It would be such a hassle and it would certainly cost far more than if we did it. Our maps are gallery wrapped which means no need for an outer frame. Sawtooth (a very simple hanger design to use) hangers are attached. Two nails and two damage-free hooks are included. Use whichever you prefer. You can have it displayed within a few minutes of it arriving.
When will my order arrive?
3-5 days after placing your order if you live in the US. All maps ship from Salt Lake City, Utah. So if you’re in California, it may be closer to 3 days. Texas, 4. Florida 5. International…
How's the quality?
We use 380GSM pure cotton canvas which is considered very premium. The backing is natural cork which has such a nice feel as you sink in each push pin — as opposed to foam or Gatorboard used by most push pin map makers. Each map is completely assembled by hand by some of the best people in the industry. Our pushpins are stainless steel and come in a steel container for each storage. And yes, we not only used stainless steel because it’s strong but also.. Cybertruck.
What if I end up not liking it?
Return within 30 days for any reason for a full refund. Though buyer is responsible for return shipping which is pricey on large items. We’ve taken lots of photos and videos, written nerd-level descriptions, and you may contact us before purchase with any other questions. But we still want to offer the comfort that comes with a stout return policy.
Do you ship to outside of the US?
Yes, but there’s additional shipping that’s calculated at checkout and you’re responsible for VAT and other taxes your country may impose. Please keep this in mind before ordering! I’d hate for anyone to get a nasty surprise upon receipt.
How many push pins does it come with?
Each map comes with 400 varied colors that correspond with the items in the legend (Supercharger Stops, Destinations, etc).
Can I order additional push pins?
Instead of selling extra push pins, we include an ample amount with each map. Keep in mind that if you subscribe, you’ll get 400 additional push pins each year. So the more time that passes, the more trips you take and the more pins you get.
Do I have to repackage the map if I give it as a gift?
Nope! A large amount of our maps are sold as gifts (consider buying ones for your friends if you haven’t already!). So all maps are individually packaged with no pricing inside or on the box.
What happens when more chargers come online and my map becomes outdated?
When we ship a map, chargers are as up-to-date as possible. But new chargers are being built all the time and that’s a good thing. Travel maps are mostly about pinning past trips, so all of those chargers will be there, unless a location has been decommissioned. If a charger isn’t on our map, you can always still pin the location where it would be on the map. Most people buy new wall art every 1-2 years. So I’d encourage you to subscribe. By subscribing, you get a whole new map that includes new chargers, updated UI, new features, new easter eggs, choose a different Design if you’d like, and more. Includes 400 more pins.
How do subscriptions work?
We wanted to combat the fact that new chargers are added each year. So by subscribing, you get a whole new map that includes new chargers, updated UI, new features, new easter eggs, choose a new color and/or design, and more. Includes 420 more pins. It ships automatically one year after your first purchase. It renews at the current price which may have gone up or down since your last purchase. Pause, delay, cancel anytime. An email will be sent before renewal asking if you want the same map or perhaps a different color or design. If we don’t hear back from you, we’ll send the same version as the year prior. More map colors and designs coming so we think you’ll love getting a new one each year.
Do you collect sales tax?
Only when your shipping address is in Texas or Utah. That’s because Trip Pinner has physical operations in those states. All other states are tax-free!
I can't decide what Design to choose.
Trust your personal taste. When you choose the design that truly speaks to you, your space will naturally come together and look great. Why? Because it’s filled with what you love.
Also, consider subscribing. When you subscribe, you’re able to choose a new Design each year.
Is the color it is in the photos and videos color-accurate to what I'll receive?
Photos and videos are taken with an iPhone 17. We don’t use any special lighting or filters to keep things as honest as possible.
What if I receive a damaged item?
DM, email, or message us via the Contact page with photos. If it’s minor damage and you’d like to still keep, we’ll give you a discount. If it’s major and you’d like to send back, we’ll get you a new one. We try to avoid shipping damage but it’s bound to happen at some point.
Shipping is taking too long.
We offer 3-5 day shipping. More shipping options are coming. Contact us if it’s not getting there as fast as expected.
Might the map be too hard to read?
There are a lot of fine details on our maps. Though most anyone can read them without issue. We’ve worked hard to achieve the right size, contrast, object density, etc. Though if your space and budget allow and you’re on the fence, it’s a good idea to size up. People are more regretful about not buying a bigger size than not buying a smaller one.
