Frequently Asked Questions
Is it ready to hang right out of the box?
Yes! It’s gallery wrapped which means you don’t need to worry about framing. Sawtooth (a very simple hanger design to use) hangers are attached. Two nails are included. Alternatively, you can use Command hangers if you don’t want the (small) holes in your wall.
When will my order arrive?
4-5 days for Standard shipping and 1-2 days for Hurry (express shipping).
What if I end up not liking it?
Return within 30 days for a full refund. Though buyer is responsible for return shipping which is pricey on items this large. We’ve taken lots of photos and videos, written nerd-level descriptions, and you may contact us before purchase with any other questions. But we still want to offer the comfort of being able to return.
Do you ship to outside of the US?
Yes, but there’s additional shipping that’s calculated at checkout and you’re responsible for VAT and other taxes your country may impose.
How many push pins does it come with?
Each map comes with 420 of varied colors to correspond with the items in the legend.
I can't remember all of my past charge stops!
Fear not! Simply go into your Tesla app and tap the Menu in the top right corner then tap Charging then tap History. It’s a useful companion as you log your long-ago trips.
I'm giving it as a gift. Do I have to repackage it?
No! Each map ships in its own box. There’s no pricing anywhere — on the back of map, in the box, or on the box. Simply gift wrap and give.
How do subscriptions work?
We wanted to combat the fact that new chargers are added each year. So by subscribing, you get a whole new map that includes new chargers, updated UI, new features, new easter eggs, choose a new color and/or design, and more. Includes 420 more pins. It ships automatically one year after your first purchase. It renews at the current price which may have gone up or down since your last purchase. Pause, delay, cancel anytime. An email will be sent before renewal asking if you want the same map or perhaps a different color or design. If we don’t hear back from you, we’ll send the same version as the year prior. More map colors and designs coming so we think you’ll love getting a new one each year.
About Us
Hey, it’s William. Mentally checking off chargers is something I’ve always done. I love visiting new ones. Keeping in mind the best ones. Knowing ahead of time which are at my favorite road trip stops (hello, Buc-ee’s).
Growing up, we had a National Geographic United States Classic Map in the hallway of our home. We would gather around and plan our upcoming trip. I remember the nervous excitement I felt when it was further than we’d ever gone as a family.
Like most bachelors, I had nothing to hang on my wall. What about a map? What about Tesla-themed art? A giant portrait of Elon seemed a little idolatrous.
What about a beautiful map that not only functions as a traditional map but also showcases my Tesla roadtrips?
We have just made our first map. I want to thank everyone who has helped and continues to help.
